Apera AI Inc. has released version 9.51 of its Apera Vue software, along with updates to its Apera Forge development platform and the addition of large-format VuePort camera models. . The software introduces expanded calibration tools, a redesigned de-racking pipeline, and deployment improvements intended to support faster implementation of vision-guided robotics in industrial environments.
The release also includes support for larger camera formats, referred to as Large (L) and Large Tall (LT) VuePorts, designed for applications requiring wider fields of view. According to Apera AI, Vue 9.51 enhances the robot calibration process by providing histogram-based visualizations that allow users to assess calibration accuracy across multiple sampling points. The update also adds a new single-rack de-racking pipeline for eye-in-hand camera setups, intended to simplify configuration in applications where parts are picked sequentially from a single row or column. Additional software refinements include new occlusion controls for part selection and general performance improvements.
