The humanoid robot developed by Realbotix can now converse fluently in 15 major languages, with cloud-based support unlocking access to more than 147 additional languages and dialects. The company says this multilingual upgrade positions the robot for use in airports, hotels, museums, hospitals, and other international environments where clear communication is essential.
The robot is designed to hold lifelike conversations and can integrate with most third-party AI platforms. In public settings, it can answer questions, provide directions, and assist visitors in their preferred language. In healthcare, it acts as a translator between patients and medical staff, helping to clarify symptoms and concerns and support more responsive care.
“Adding multilingual support to our humanoid robot is a meaningful step toward more human-centered technology,” said Andrew Kiguel, CEO of Realbotix. “Whether in a hospital or a hotel, the ability to understand and respond in someone’s native language builds trust and makes the experience more personal.”
