Ambi Robotics and Pickle Robot Company have integrated their robotic systems to automate package handling from trailer unloading through pallet stacking and warehouse receiving. The combined system uses Pickle Robot’s trailer-unloading robots to remove cases from inbound trailers. Conveyors then transfer the packages to Ambi Robotics’ AmbiStack system, which identifies, scans and stacks them for downstream warehouse operations.
The companies said the integration is designed to work with existing warehouse infrastructure and management systems, reducing the need for major facility redesigns. It is intended to automate labor-intensive processes at loading docks while allowing warehouse operators to use technologies from multiple automation suppliers.
AmbiStack is designed to connect with a range of warehouse and material-handling systems rather than operate within a single-vendor environment. Pickle Robot’s equipment is also designed for deployment in existing facilities to unload trailers and containers.
The companies said the project was developed in response to demand from large retail and logistics operators seeking to connect trailer unloading with downstream warehouse automation. They also plan to support broader coordination between robotic systems as warehouse operators expand multi-robot workflows.
