At Automate 2025, Doig Corporation introduced Pallet EZ, which it describes as North America’s first off-the-shelf palletizing solution. Developed in collaboration with OnRobot and powered by the D:PLOY automation platform, Pallet EZ is positioned as a system that can be installed and deployed on the same day, without the need for programming expertise or third-party integration.
According to Doig Corporation, the system was operational within three hours in preparation for its public demonstration at the trade show. The company claims this rapid deployment reflects the intent behind OnRobot’s D:PLOY platform, which supports simplified automation implementation.
Pallet EZ is designed for small to mid-sized manufacturers seeking to address labor constraints and rising production requirements. Doig states that the system allows users to adapt to changing product specifications and pallet configurations without external assistance. The solution aims to reduce the time, cost, and complexity traditionally associated with automation projects.
Eric Kraus, Director of Sales and Automation at Doig Corporation, stated that Pallet EZ represents a new category of automation tailored to manufacturers’ current operational challenges. He added that the system is intended to offer a balance between affordability and advanced functionality, with an emphasis on ease of use, safety, and scalability.
As a Preferred Partner for OnRobot’s D:PLOY platform, Doig Corporation is aligned with OnRobot’s broader strategy to streamline automation deployment. OnRobot, based in Odense, Denmark, develops collaborative automation technologies and distributes its solutions through a global partner network.
Pallet EZ is the latest addition to OnRobot’s line of prefabricated automation tools, which the company markets as enabling rapid changeovers and operational flexibility without the need for programming.
