Doosan Robotics will introduce its new ‘AI Robot Solution’ at Automatica 2025, a major European trade fair for robotics and automation scheduled to begin on June 24 in Munich, Germany. The company announced it will present its broadest array of AI-integrated automation and manufacturing technologies to date, structured around two main exhibition zones: ‘Automation in Action’ and ‘Automation to Reality’.
In the ‘Automation to Reality’ section, Doosan Robotics will display several AI-enabled robotic solutions, including systems co-developed with technology firms NVIDIA and AWS. One of these is ‘Voice to Real’, a voice-recognition tool developed with AWS. It builds on technology introduced at CES 2024, incorporating a 3D vision camera that enables the robot to interpret verbal instructions, determine user intent, identify objects, and autonomously carry out actions.
Also featured will be the Material Handling Solution, which employs three collaborative robots equipped with vision systems to recognize and handle objects without prior programming. This setup uses the company’s Multi-Arm Dynamic Manipulation Engine to coordinate multiple robotic arms for executing complex tasks simultaneously.
Additional systems include the Sanding Solution, which uses AI and 3D vision for autonomous surface polishing, and the Inspection Solution, which performs real-time external inspections of vehicles using a 3D scanning mechanism.
The ‘Sim to Real’ solution will also be showcased. It integrates NVIDIA Isaac Sim and CuRobo, a CUDA-accelerated robotics library, to enable real-time simulation and physical deployment of robotic movements through GPU-based computation and communication.
In the ‘Automation in Action’ zone, the company will demonstrate real-world applications of its robotics technology across manufacturing processes such as welding, machine tending, assembly, inspection, and palletizing. These applications have been developed in partnership with European firms and are already in use by multinational companies including General Motors, Danone, Heineken, and Royal Mail.
Founded in 2015 and headquartered in South Korea, Doosan Robotics specializes in AI-based robotic automation solutions and operates its European business from Düsseldorf, Germany.
