The 139th China Import and Export Fair has introduced dedicated zones for consumer drones, agricultural drones and service robots, as emerging technology products receive a more defined presence at the Guangzhou trade event. The consumer drone zone focuses on applications including imaging, tourism, emergency response and patrol services. Exhibits include drone technologies related to flight control, AI-based obstacle avoidance and energy efficiency.
The agricultural drone zone presents products and demonstrations for precision farming, including spraying, seeding and field management. The showcased functions include terrain following, intelligent route planning and payload control. According to the fair’s organizers, a Shandong-based drone manufacturer received buyers from more than 30 countries on the opening day and recorded more than 50 sales leads. One buyer confirmed three sample units after viewing demonstrations related to load capacity and wind resistance and proposed becoming a regional distributor.
The service robots zone features robots for industrial, commercial, medical and public-service uses. The displays focus on autonomy, multi-sensory perception and human-robot collaboration. The new zones are part of nine dedicated product areas added to the fair’s exhibition layout.
