Circus Deploys Robot Kitchens in Ukraine

by Marco van der Hoeven

Munich based technology company Circus SE has established operational teams and logistics partnerships in Kyiv to facilitate the rollout of its CA-M autonomous robot kitchens for tactical meal supply in Ukraine. The company stated that initial deployments are planned to begin in the coming months.

According to Circus, the Kyiv team will act as a regional hub for deployment, maintenance, sales support, and operational training of the CA-M systems. The local partnerships reportedly include expertise in defense technology, systems integration, and field operations. Circus CEO and founder Nikolas Bullwinkel said that setting up local operations in Ukraine is intended to strengthen the company’s operational capacity in the region and enable on-site readiness. The company described Ukraine as a priority market for its autonomous supply systems.

The CA-M robot kitchens are designed for use in high-risk environments and support automated meal production and distribution with limited human involvement. The company said the system’s modular architecture allows for independent operation under extreme conditions and without reliance on conventional supply chains. Circus indicated that the deployment in Ukraine forms part of a broader expansion of its European network and aligns with its strategy to supply governments, defense organizations, and humanitarian actors with autonomous food production and supply systems.
