Dane Technologies has launched Dane AirViewer, a cloud-based analytics platform that uses data collected by the company’s Dane AIR DC robot to provide warehouse and distribution center operators with a dashboard for inventory monitoring and exception management. The platform runs on Brain Corp’s BrainOS software and is intended to help facilities convert autonomous inventory scans into operational data that can be used to track stock locations and identify discrepancies.
The company said the product is aimed at addressing differences between warehouse management system records and inventory conditions on the floor, a gap that can contribute to missing stock, stockouts, shipping penalties and service issues. Dane AirViewer is designed to reduce reliance on manual cycle counts and exception handling by giving inventory teams access to automated data on item locations and status.
Chief Executive Dan Johnson said the platform is intended to provide warehouse operators with real-time information on where inventory is located, what may be missing and how exceptions can be resolved more quickly. He said the system is designed to turn the scanning output of the Dane AIR DC robot into information that inventory teams can use to address problems in minutes rather than days.
According to Dane Technologies, the platform allows users to identify missing pallets and tagged items through a digital interface rather than manual searches. It also flags inventory issues such as missing pallet exceptions and location exceptions, and attaches timestamps and photographic records to those events. The company said AirViewer can also help facilities identify unassociated license plate numbers, or LPNs, representing pallets the robot has detected that are not mapped to a known location in the warehouse system.
Dane Technologies said the system is also intended to support labor reallocation by automating data collection and analysis, allowing employees to spend less time on manual inventory tasks and more time on fulfillment work. The company plans to demonstrate Dane AirViewer at MODEX 2026.
