Delta Electronics Opens Automation and Robotics Center in Stuttgart

by Pieter Werner

Delta Electronics has opened an Automation & Robotics Center in Stuttgart, Germany. The facility focuses on demonstrating and developing robotics and industrial automation solutions for customers, partners and system integrators across Europe.

The center covers approximately 600 square meters and is supported by a local engineering team of around seven specialists. It provides facilities for technology demonstrations, proof-of-concept development, customer workshops, technical training and application engineering.

Visitors can explore Delta’s robotics portfolio, including its D-Bot collaborative robot series. During the opening, the company demonstrated several industrial applications, including a collaborative palletizing solution, a material handling application featuring the D-Bot DC20 and DC30 working together, and a robotic dry welding application.

The center is intended to support collaboration between Delta and European manufacturers in developing and implementing automation solutions. Customers and system integrators can use the facility to test technologies and develop applications for specific production processes.

Customers, partners, industry representatives and Delta employees attended the opening. Peter Fröschle, Managing Director of ARENA2036, delivered a presentation on intelligent manufacturing and collaboration between industry, research institutions and technology companies.

ARENA2036 is a research and innovation campus in Stuttgart where companies and academic institutions collaborate on mobility and production technologies. Delta Electronics joined the network in 2025.

The new facility expands Delta’s industrial automation activities in Germany. Founded in 1971 and listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange, the company develops solutions for power management, industrial automation, data center infrastructure and electric mobility, among other applications. Delta operates sales offices, research and development centers, and manufacturing facilities at nearly 200 locations across five continents.
