Dreame Technology concluded DREAME NEXT , its largest international launch event to date. Held over four days in San Francisco, the event covered product introductions across smart mobility, home appliances, personal devices, and personal care, alongside a closing science forum and a set of philanthropic and research initiatives from the Yu Hao Foundation.
Dreame reported more than 100 technologies at the event that it characterises as industry firsts. The company has posted a compound annual revenue growth rate of 100% over eight consecutive years. In 2025, overseas revenue accounted for nearly 80% of total sales. Robot vacuums now hold the leading market share position in 30 countries, and Dreame’s products reach more than 42 million households across 120 countries, supported by over 6,500 offline retail locations.
North American performance in Q1 2026 showed year-on-year growth exceeding 100% across robot vacuums, wet-and-dry vacuums, cordless vacuums, and hair dryers. The company holds a portfolio of more than 10,000 patent filings globally, with over 3,000 granted as of December 2025. The event featured appearances from Sebastian Thrun, Stanford professor and founder of Google X Lab, at the vehicle launch; Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak at the smartphone session; and three-time NBA champion Dwyane Wade at the home appliance presentation.
Autonomous driving
The mobility segment centred on the Nebula NEXT 01 JET Edition, a rocket-powered vehicle equipped with a 2,160-line LiDAR system. Thrun, who participated in the launch session, described the combination of the vehicle hardware and current autonomous driving technology as without precedent in the industry.
In cleaning — Dreame’s established core category — the company introduced the XT Combo vacuum, powered by a 250,000 RPM magnetic levitation motor delivering 420AW of suction, which the company claims as a world first for that motor configuration. The X60 Pro Ultra robot vacuum incorporates a second-generation bionic robotic arm with an 18cm mop extension, extending coverage to areas and obstacles that have historically been out of reach for robotic cleaning units.
Dual robotic arm
The appliance segment covered several categories beyond cleaning. The FizzFresh Pro refrigerator integrates a built-in sparkling water system, which Dreame describes as a world first, alongside OxyPause low-oxygen preservation technology that reduces internal oxygen concentration to as low as 5%, extending produce freshness to up to 21 days. The N1 refrigerator adds multimodal food recognition covering more than 1,800 ingredients and connectivity with wearable devices for personalised dietary recommendations.
Two air conditioning introductions were also presented as world firsts: the Air Conditioner X60 Series with a dual robotic arm mechanism, and the Z Series featuring a fully embedded, integrated installation format. The R8000F television incorporates a dynamic sound engine that tracks the viewer’s position in real time and adjusts audio output accordingly. The Z1 Embodied AI Laundry Robot uses a multi-joint robotic arm to autonomously manage the full laundry cycle, from collection through washing, drying, and retrieval.
Humanity Next forum
The fourth and final day shifted from product launches to a structured science forum. Speakers included Turing Award Laureate and UC Berkeley Professor Emeritus David Patterson, NASA rocket scientist and board member Sylvia Acevedo, and the Adams Distinguished Professor of Management at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. Discussion covered the trajectory of fundamental research, technology ethics, and shifting global dynamics over the next decade. The Yu Hao Foundation used the forum to announce the launch of the Under 35 Young Scientists Program and an updated version of the SkyAxis innovation platform, designated SkyAxis Program 2.0. Participants engaged both on-site and remotely with program members.
