Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology introduced an embedded intelligence operating system, Robot Ops, during Hannover Messe 2026, where the company also presented developments in industrial artificial intelligence and smart manufacturing systems.
Robot Ops is positioned as an embedded intelligence development platform designed for industrial robotics and related applications. Built around the concept of integrating data, software, and intelligent agents, the system combines DevOps, DataOps, and AgentOps into a unified framework intended to support coordinated development processes across these domains.
The platform includes modules covering basic development tools, imitation learning, reinforcement learning, and task orchestration. These components are designed to manage the lifecycle of intelligent systems, from data collection and model training to simulation, application development, and deployment. The company states that the system is intended to streamline iteration cycles and reduce barriers to adopting embedded intelligence technologies.
Zoomlion indicated that the platform addresses challenges including technical complexity, data constraints, scenario transferability, and lifecycle management. The system is designed to support applications across humanoid robotics, industrial automation, construction equipment, and autonomous systems, with the aim of enabling standardized deployment at scale.
At the exhibition, the company demonstrated coordinated robot operations using Robot Ops in a logistics sorting scenario. A wheeled humanoid robot and a mobile logistics robot performed collaborative tasks under a unified scheduling system. In a separate demonstration, the company’s Z1 humanoid robot executed a choreographed routine alongside motion control displays.
In addition to robotics, Zoomlion presented its Industry 5.0-oriented smart manufacturing systems, including applications involving digital twins, intelligent scheduling, and integrated logistics. The company also highlighted its Smart Industrial City initiative as an example of applying digital technologies across manufacturing environments.
Zoomlion exhibited within the China Pavilion and collaborated with Amazon Web Services during the event, where it also took part in activities related to investment promotion initiatives.
