No robot without the right components. At Automatica, NB Europe showed its role as a specialist supplier of high-precision components for micromovement, essential in advanced robotics and automation applications. As part of the Nippon Bearing Group, the company delivers Japanese-manufactured linear motion components used by a wide range of robotics companies and equipment manufacturers across sectors like pharmaceuticals, optics, and semiconductor assembly.
Speaking to the Rocking Robots team, Patrick Kleian of NB Europe explained the company’s position in the broader robotics ecosystem. “We are a small player in robotics, but an essential one. Our components enable the high-precision movements that many automation systems rely on—particularly in compact, demanding environments where accuracy down to the micron is critical.”
NB Europe supplies linear motion systems such as cross-roller guides, actuator assemblies, and custom miniature movement solutions. At Automatica, the company displayed not only its component lineup but also application examples showing how these parts are integrated into systems like microscope tables, pick-and-place machines, and pharmaceutical samplers. NB Europe’s emphasis on Japanese quality and precision is a key differentiator.
