MHS Lift has expanded its partnership with Movu Robotics, under which MHS Lift has commissioned a second Movu system and continues to act as Movu’s first integrator in North America. The companies began working together in 2019, when MHS Lift integrated Movu Robotics’ first system in the region. The collaboration focuses on the deployment of Movu’s Atlas four-way shuttle system, an automated storage and retrieval system designed to handle palletized goods.
The system uses autonomous shuttle robots that move pallets within rack lanes, reducing aisle requirements and increasing storage density. According to the companies, the technology is intended to support more efficient material flow and can be integrated with existing warehouse management systems through software-based controls.
Brett Levin, co-president of MHS Lift, said the partnership reflects the company’s approach to automation strategy. “Partnering with Movu was the right choice for our clients and they are fantastic partners,” Levin said. “We were the first to realize the technology’s potential in the North American market, and our long-standing relationship reflects our focus on warehouse automation and emerging technologies.”
MHS Lift has positioned the four-way shuttle system as a core component of its broader warehouse automation offering. Ben Miller, director of integrated solutions at MHS Lift, said the company is developing an ecosystem around the technology that incorporates safety, maintenance, and fleet management capabilities across multiple sites. “We’re fully committed to this highly efficient technology as a foundational platform for the future of warehousing,” Miller said.
Movu Robotics said the partnership has played a central role in its North American expansion. Mathieu Theureau, vice president of U.S. sales at Movu Robotics, described MHS Lift as an early and consistent integration partner. “Their integration expertise and understanding of customer needs make them an ideal partner for deploying advanced solutions like Movu Atlas,” Theureau said.
