.NEURA Robotics has announced a Series C financing round of up to $1.4 billion, in what the German robotics company describes as the largest capital raise to date for a full-stack robotics company. The new funding is intended to accelerate the development of NEURA’s Physical AI platform, expand production capacity and support the rollout of NEURA Gyms: physical training environments where cognitive robots can learn in real-world settings.
The financing brings together investors and strategic partners from AI, robotics, computing, semiconductors, manufacturing and industrial infrastructure. The parties named by NEURA include Tether, Qualcomm Technologies, Amazon, NVIDIA, imec.xpand, Bosch, Schaeffler, the European Investment Bank, Lingotto Horizon and InterAlpen Partners.
NEURA is positioning itself as the developer of an open ecosystem for Physical AI. At the center of this strategy is the Neuraverse, a platform designed to allow cognitive robots to share knowledge, skills and real-world learning. With this approach, the company aims to move beyond traditional robotics models in which robots are usually configured for narrow tasks or isolated industrial applications. NEURA combines robotics, AI, sensors, edge computing and large-scale learning infrastructure in a single platform architecture.

The new capital will be used for the global deployment of cognitive robots and humanoids, the expansion of the Neuraverse platform, the scaling of manufacturing and deployment infrastructure, and the development of next-generation Physical AI systems. NEURA also says it plans to scale serial production to several million robots by 2030.
According to the company, its existing orderbook and strategic deployment pipeline now exceed $1 billion. NEURA works with industrial and AI partners including Bosch, Schaeffler, Kawasaki, Delta Electronics, Qualcomm Technologies, Amazon and NVIDIA. This places the company at the intersection of robotics, industrial automation and artificial intelligence.
“In the future, people will not only ask what AI can say,” Reger said. “They will ask what AI can physically do.”
A key part of the company’s strategy is the expansion of NEURA Gyms. These are large-scale training environments where robots are exposed to physical interaction, sensor data, simulation and multimodal learning pipelines. The aim is to build a data infrastructure that enables robots to learn tasks faster and share capabilities across deployments.

The investors link the financing directly to the emergence of AI beyond the digital domain. Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, pointed to the need for infrastructure that can support autonomous machines. “As robotics moves beyond scripted automation and into true autonomy, the infrastructure behind it must evolve as well. Autonomous machines need the ability to process information locally, make decisions, and transact without relying on centralized intermediaries.”
Qualcomm Technologies also frames Physical AI as a new stage in computing. Nakul Duggal, EVP and Group GM, Automotive, Industrial and Embedded IoT, and Robotics at Qualcomm Technologies, said: “Physical AI represents the next major evolution of computing, extending intelligence into real-world environments. Robotics is one of the most demanding edge AI use cases, where systems must perceive, reason and act instantly, reliably and on device for safety-critical applications.”
Amazon connects the investment to its existing strategic partnership with NEURA. Nafea Bshara, Vice President & Distinguished Engineer at Amazon, described the investment as “a natural extension” of that partnership. According to Bshara, Amazon brings the cloud infrastructure and AI technology stack required to support Physical AI at scale, including Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, AWS Trainium and the Neuron stack.
The involvement of Bosch and Schaeffler underlines the industrial dimension of the announcement. Stefan Hartung, CEO of Robert Bosch GmbH, said: “We see significant growth opportunities in the field of humanoid robotics. The European Investment Bank presents the financing in the context of European technological autonomy. Nicola Beer, Vice President of the EIB, said that by backing NEURA Robotics, the bank is putting “serious European firepower” behind the next wave of Physical AI and cognitive robotics. According to Beer, NEURA’s open Neuraverse platform can help thousands of robots learn from each other in real time, with potential applications in safer factories, smarter logistics and new services.
With this financing round, NEURA becomes one of the most heavily funded robotics companies in Europe at a time when humanoids, cognitive robots and Physical AI are gaining strategic importance. The next phase will show how quickly the company can translate its platform into large-scale production, reliable deployment in existing work environments and an open ecosystem in which robots can share skills and real-world data.
