Nippon Bearing has established a new European location in Katowice, Poland, operating under the name NB Polska, as part of an expansion of its regional operations. The facility is intended to work in coordination with the company’s European headquarters, NB Europe B.V., in the Netherlands, which continues to oversee strategic operations, sales coordination, and technical support across the continent.
The Katowice site is expected to support logistics, regional distribution, and customer service activities, with the potential for expanded technical and application support in the future. By adding a presence in southern Poland, the company aims to improve access to its linear motion products for customers in Central and Eastern Europe and to shorten response times for regional demand.
Katowice was selected for its infrastructure and proximity to industrial markets in the region. The city is located within Poland’s industrial corridor and provides access to transportation networks and engineering talent. According to the company, the location aligns with its longer-term plans for growth in the European market.
NB Polska will operate alongside NB Europe B.V., which remains the central hub for the company’s European operations. Together, the two locations are intended to support coordination of sales, logistics, and technical services throughout the region.
The expansion reflects growth in the company’s European customer base and an effort to strengthen operational capacity in key markets. Nippon Bearing manufactures linear motion solutions used in industrial and engineering applications, including systems designed for precision movement and positioning.
