PAL Robotics Showcases Collaborative Robotics at European Robotics Forum 2026

by Marco van der Hoeven

PAL Robotics is set to participate in the European Robotics Forum 2026 as a gold sponsor, where it plans to present a range of robotic platforms aimed at research and operational use cases across sectors including healthcare, assistive living, retail and industrial operations.

At booths 36 and 37, the company plans to display ARI, TIAGo, TIAGo OMNI Base and TIAGo Pro together with a teleoperation station. PAL Robotics said the systems are intended to support both research activity and deployment in real-world environments, allowing developers, researchers and organisations to test service robotics applications in practical settings.

The company also plans to demonstrate teleoperation functions for TIAGo Pro, with visitors able to operate the system directly. PAL Robotics said the teleoperation station is designed to support human-robot interaction and data collection for artificial intelligence and machine learning applications.

PAL Robotics said it has worked with universities, research centres and industry partners for more than 20 years and has taken part in nearly 70 collaborative projects. The company said those partnerships have focused on helping researchers test technologies and move robotics applications from laboratory settings into operational use.

During the forum, the company also expects to provide updates on several European projects in which it is currently involved, reflecting the role of joint research initiatives in the development of robotics applications.

The event is also expected to include a leadership transition at euRobotics aisbl, the European robotics association. PAL Robotics said its chief executive, Francesco Ferro, has been nominated by the board of directors to become the next president of euRobotics, subject to ratification by the association’s general assembly.

PAL Robotics, founded in 2004, develops humanoid robots as well as automation systems for retail and manufacturing customers. The company also supplies robotic platforms to research institutions and has participated in more than 60 collaborative research projects, according to the company.
