Plus One Robotics Launches DepalOne Depalletizing Robot

by Pieter Werner

Plus One Robotics, in collaboration with modular robotics provider beRobox, has introduced DepalOne, a depalletizing automation system intended for use in warehouse operations. The system integrates beRobox’s mobile robotic hardware with Plus One’s PickOne vision software, creating a deployable, scalable solution aimed at reducing manual labor in material handling environments.

DepalOne is designed to be installed without structural changes to existing facilities and is capable of managing various pallet types, including mixed-SKU, rainbow, and single-SKU configurations. The system utilizes the Paltz platform and incorporates the PickOne AI vision suite to identify and handle items in real-time. Through this integration, Plus One Robotics aims to address operational variability such as reversed pallets or inconsistent package placements.

The company has expanded its PickOne product line to include three tiers—Lite, Core, and Pro—allowing customers to select a vision system aligned with their automation requirements and budget. DepalOne is available in configurations supporting both collaborative and industrial robots. The collaborative variant, deployable within four weeks, processes up to 500 packages per hour, while the industrial option, requiring eight weeks for deployment, offers throughput exceeding 650 packages per hour. A dual-pallet configuration allows for nine operational cycles per minute, with a handling capacity of up to 70 pounds and a maximum pallet height of 98 inches. In addition to the standalone depalletizing system, DepalOne offers variants such as the Pal & Depal Combo Cell and the Depal/Repal System. These configurations are designed for dock operations, cross-docking, and order-specific pallet rebuilding, respectively.
