PrimeBOT’s Q1 and T1 personal robot models received Gold and Silver awards, respectively, at the A’ Design Award 2026 ceremony in Milan. The company said the recognition represents the first international acknowledgment of what it describes as the “Personal Robot” category, with members of its design team accepting the awards.
PrimeBOT describes the Personal Robot category as distinct from industrial and service robots, positioning its products as devices intended for everyday personal use rather than for specialized commercial or industrial applications. According to the company, the concept is designed to integrate into home and personal environments while providing assistance and connectivity for individual users.
The Q1 and T1 models were developed around a shared design approach that emphasizes simplified geometric forms rather than human-like appearances. PrimeBOT said the robots avoid synthetic facial features and skin-like materials in favor of enclosed mechanical structures, rounded shapes, and warm-touch materials intended to create a less technical appearance suitable for residential settings.
The Q1 model stands approximately 80 centimeters tall and features an open-source outer shell that supports 3D-printed customization and interchangeable modules, allowing users to modify its appearance and functionality. The T1 model is capable of switching between bipedal and quadrupedal modes while retaining the same overall design principles.
PrimeBOT said it has begun expanding its market presence in North America and Europe. The company also noted that its products received five awards at CES 2026 before earning the Gold and Silver honors at the A’ Design Award.
