RobCo has been selected for the inaugural Physical AI Fellowship, a new program launched by Amazon Web Services (AWS), NVIDIA, and MassRobotics. The initiative is designed to support early-stage companies developing intelligent systems for physical-world applications, offering technical resources, mentorship, and industry exposure.
The fellowship provides selected startups with access to cloud and compute infrastructure, hardware platforms, and robotics facilities. RobCo, a German robotics company focused on modular automation solutions for manufacturing, will use the program’s resources to advance its work on autonomous systems capable of tasks such as textile handling, bin picking, and assembly. The company is developing AI-driven robotic solutions that can operate without manual programming, using methods including reinforcement learning, imitation learning, and synthetic data pipelines.
As part of the fellowship, RobCo will receive $200,000 in AWS credits, technical support from AWS’s Generative AI Innovation Center, and access to NVIDIA’s development platforms, including the Isaac simulation environment and the Cosmos platform. The company will also use prototyping and testing facilities at MassRobotics and engage with its broader robotics network.
The fellowship runs for six to eight weeks and concludes with showcase events at AWS, NVIDIA, and MassRobotics. The inaugural Fall 2025 cohort includes eight startups and aims to accelerate commercialization and deployment of robotics solutions that integrate physical systems with AI technologies.
