RoboSense reported sales of 719,200 LiDAR units in the first half of 2026, an increase of 169.6% from the same period a year earlier. The Shenzhen-based company, listed in Hong Kong under stock code 02498, sold 282,600 LiDAR units for robotics applications during the six-month period, up 510.4% year over year. Sales to the advanced driver-assistance systems segment rose 98.0% to 436,600 units.
Second-quarter sales totaled 388,900 units. Robotics LiDAR accounted for 97,100 units, an increase of 182.3% from a year earlier, while ADAS LiDAR sales rose 135.7% to 291,800 units. RoboSense attributed the growth to demand across its automotive and robotics businesses and to the expansion of its digital LiDAR portfolio, including the E1R and Airy product series. The products are used in applications including embodied artificial intelligence systems and commercial cleaning robots.
The company introduced its EOCENE SPAD system-on-chip architecture and its Phoenix and Peacock chipsets in April 2026. It also reported cumulative deliveries of more than 300,000 fully solid-state digital LiDAR units based on its E Platform. RoboSense said it plans to continue investing in internally developed chips, product development and mass-production capacity for robotics and automotive perception systems.
