Nauticus Robotics has announced that its second Aquanaut Mark 2 autonomous underwater vehicle has entered the next phase of acceptance testing. The company completed the vehicle’s assembly and initial testing phase at its Houston facility in January. The vehicle has since been transported to Louisiana, where it will undergo pool testing scheduled for completion later this month.
Following the pool tests, the Aquanaut Mark 2 will proceed to open-water trials off the southern coast of the United States. Nauticus expects to finalize all acceptance testing within the first quarter of 2025.
