SwitchBot has launched the K20+ Pro, a multifunctional household robot designed to perform a range of domestic tasks including vacuuming, home security, air purification, and small-item delivery. The announcement follows the product’s earlier debut at CES 2025.
The K20+ Pro operates on SwitchBot’s FusionPlatform, a modular and adaptable base system equipped with ClawLock technology. This configuration enables the robot to connect with various SwitchBot accessories and third-party devices, allowing users to customize the unit for different household applications.
The product consists of a robot vacuum unit, a base station, and the FusionPlatform, which supports different accessory kits. The Delivery Kit is designed for transporting items such as food, drinks, or small packages up to 8 kilograms. The Patrol Kit includes the SwitchBot Pan/Tilt Cam Plus (available in 2K or 3K resolution) and provides mobile security monitoring with motion detection and remote control via the SwitchBot app.
Additional configurations include the Air Purifier Kit, which pairs with the SwitchBot Air Purifier Series to offer mobile air purification, and the Air Flow Kit, which integrates a battery-powered circulator fan for mobile air circulation. Users may also add the SwitchBot Adjustable Device Stand and Cordless Vacuum or combine all available modules in the K20+ Pro Omni Ultimate Kit.
FusionPlatform is aimed at users interested in custom applications. It features built-in power ports and supports integration with external components such as speakers and UV sterilizers. SwitchBot has announced plans to host a contest later in 2025 inviting users to present their own functional adaptations of the robot.
Navigation is managed through D-ToF Lidar and dual laser sensors, enabling detailed indoor mapping. The robot is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple Siri, and the broader SwitchBot smart home ecosystem.
