UiPath Announces AI Partnerships and Platform Updates at FUSION 2025

'The world needs an agentic platform that acts like Switzerland: open, neutral, and never locking data inside a closed system'

by Marco van der Hoeven

At its FUSION event in Las Vegas, UiPath announced a series of AI-driven updates and collaborations designed to strengthen its position as a leading platform for agentic automation. The company highlighted new partnerships with OpenAI, Google, NVIDIA and Snowflake, alongside significant expansions to the UiPath Platform itself.

UiPath CEO Daniel Dines described the strategy as an evolution of the company’s original vision: “A decade ago, our mantra was to build an open system because in the enterprise world, you can’t destroy and rebuild everything; you must work within the ecosystem. Today, the world needs an agentic platform that acts like Switzerland: open, neutral, and never locking data inside a closed system.”

Expanded UiPath Platform

The expanded UiPath Platform introduces a range of new capabilities aimed at accelerating enterprise adoption of AI agents. UiPath Maestro now delivers end-to-end orchestration, giving business users in industries such as finance, healthcare and customer service greater visibility and control over cases and processes. New development tools, including the AI Agent Builder, provide a visual environment for creating agents across low-code, pro-code and conversational interfaces. At the same time, conversational extensions now allow agents to operate in applications like Teams, Slack and Copilot, while supporting triggers, voice interaction and human hand-offs. UiPath also announced Screenplay and API Workflows, which merge robotic process automation, APIs and large language and action models to simplify the development of automations. Enhanced document processing capabilities, powered by proprietary large language models, are designed to deliver greater accuracy in areas such as compliance checks and contract analysis.

OpenAI Collaboration

UiPath revealed a strategic partnership with OpenAI to integrate frontier models, including GPT-5, into enterprise workflows. A new ChatGPT connector is designed to enable process owners to build, evaluate and orchestrate AI agents with UiPath Maestro. In addition, ChatGPT Enterprise users will gain direct access to UiPath automations, workflows and agents, embedding automation directly into their everyday environments.

Google Voice Agents

A second major announcement came with Google Cloud, as UiPath introduced a Conversational Agent powered by Google’s Gemini models. This innovation brings real-time voice-based automation into business processes, offering multilingual support, emotion-aware dialogue and proactive audio handling. By enabling more natural interactions, the Conversational Agent is intended to broaden the role of AI in dynamic and unpredictable business contexts.

NVIDIA Integration for Trusted AI

UiPath also announced a collaboration with NVIDIA to extend AI into high-trust workflows such as fraud detection and healthcare management. Through an Integration Service Connector, enterprises will be able to combine UiPath’s automation expertise with NVIDIA’s Nemotron models and NIM microservices for natural language processing, image recognition and predictive analytics. This approach is aimed at helping highly regulated industries deploy AI securely and at scale.

Snowflake Partnership

Finally, UiPath revealed a partnership with Snowflake that unites UiPath’s automation platform with Snowflake Cortex AI. This integration allows enterprises to act directly on insights derived from both structured and unstructured data within Snowflake, turning information into orchestrated actions without disrupting existing systems.

Building an Open AI Ecosystem

Together, these announcements reflect UiPath’s ambition to act as an open and neutral hub for agentic automation across the enterprise technology landscape. By connecting with major AI providers and strengthening its own platform, the company is positioning itself as a central orchestrator of agents, robots and humans in the next phase of enterprise automation.
