Chinese robotics company Unitree Robotics has published an official clarification addressing incorrect information circulating online about its 2025 sales figures. The statement responds to reports that attributed sales and delivery numbers to the company that Unitree says it had never formally disclosed.
According to Unitree, it did not previously publish any official sales data for 2025. The company states that misinformation about its delivery volume had spread online in recent weeks, prompting the clarification. In the statement, Unitree confirms that during 2025 it delivered more than 5,500 humanoid robots to end customers. These figures refer to robots that were actually sold and delivered, not to orders placed. Total production of humanoid robots in 2025 exceeded 6,500 units, with the company noting that order volumes were higher but not specified.
Unitree emphasizes that the figures apply exclusively to its purely humanoid robots. Other product categories, such as double-armed wheeled robots and additional robotic systems in its portfolio, are explicitly excluded from the numbers cited in the statement. The company also cautions against aggregating sales figures across different robot types. Given the wide variation in robot designs and applications, Unitree argues that combining such data can lead to misleading comparisons.
