Universal Robots is hosting Collaborate India 2025, an automation-focused event in Bengaluru that brings together industry professionals to discuss advancements in robotics and artificial intelligence. The event, held at the Sheraton Grand at Brigade Gateway, highlights how collaborative robots (cobots) and intelligent automation are influencing manufacturing efficiency and business operations.
The event follows Universal Robots’ recent milestone of selling its 100,000th cobot. Throughout the day, the company will present its latest generation of cobots and software developments. Industry leaders, including Impaqt Robotics, Lorch, LMI, Schunk, Soloman, DF Automation, Zimmer, DH-Robotics, and MiR, will demonstrate cobot applications in areas such as material handling, welding, and AI-driven vision systems.
Sessions include discussions on the role of AI in automation, the impact of robotics on emerging economies, and a panel on Industry 5.0 in Asia, featuring representatives from Tata Consultancy Services, TVS Motor Company, Tata India Institute of Skills, and Universal Robots. Live demonstrations and workshops will provide insights into new technologies such as PolyScope X software and AI-powered cobot solutions.
Virupakshappa Hovale, Regional Director for South Asia at Universal Robots, stated that automation is a key factor in India’s industrial growth. The event aims to demonstrate how cobots are being adopted across sectors such as automotive, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, electronics, and logistics.
