Vention and FANUC America have expanded their collaboration to integrate FANUC industrial and collaborative robots with Vention’s hardware and software platform. The integration is intended to allow manufacturers to design, program, simulate, deploy and operate robotic systems within a single digital environment. Vention’s platform now supports several FANUC robot families, including the CRX, LR Mate, LR-10iA, M-710iD and M-20iD series.
The combined system includes collision-free motion planning, digital-twin capabilities and support for both no-code and Python-based programming. It is designed for applications including machine tending, pick-and-place operations, palletising, welding and high-speed industrial automation.
Vention said the platform uses Foundation Stereo, an NVIDIA Isaac open model, to estimate depth from stereo-camera images and create a real-time three-dimensional representation of a robot’s workspace. Its MachineMotion AI software uses this representation to calculate collision-free movement paths.
Operators can define a robot’s starting point and destination rather than programming each waypoint manually. The software then scans the workspace and generates a path between the two targets. Manufacturers can also simulate robot movements, automation logic and interactions within a cell before deploying the system. The approach is intended to reduce manual programming and commissioning requirements while allowing production systems to be adjusted for new products, fixtures and factory layouts.
Vention and FANUC will demonstrate the system at Automate 2026 using FANUC CRX-10iA and LR Mate 200iD robots. The demonstrations will cover machine-tending and adaptive-motion applications powered by Vention’s MachineMotion AI and MachineLogic software.
