At the 2025 Agentic Automation Summit in the Netherlands, UiPath highlighted the growing role of agentic AI in enterprise automation. A key theme was Maestro, a new orchestration layer designed to integrate three core components of modern work: people, robots, and AI agents. In this video, the Rocking Robots team explores the implications of agentic AI in conversation with Jaap-Jan Wever (UiPath), Edwin Provoost (Future Workforce), Koenraad Heijlen (Vanbreda Risk & Benefits), and Florin Traistra (Vos Logistics).
Agentic AI refers to autonomous systems that can interpret context, make decisions, and coordinate across complex processes. With Maestro, UiPath proposes a framework where these agents collaborate with both robotic process automation (RPA) tools and human users. “People, robots, and AI agents can now operate in a truly symbiotic way,” says Jaap-Jan Wever, Managing Director Netherlands at UiPath.
This approach represents a shift from conventional automation, where tasks were typically divided between manual work and pre-programmed bots. Agentic automation supports adaptive, context-aware workflows that evolve in real time, allowing for greater flexibility and responsiveness in business operations.
