WIRobotics Raises USD 68 million

by Pieter Werner

WIRobotics has completed a KRW 95 billion, or approximately USD 68 million, Series B funding round to support development of its humanoid robotics and physical AI technologies. WIRobotics is developing a humanoid robot platform called ALLEX, which is based on technologies intended to understand and augment human movement. The company is also working with AWS and NVIDIA on physical AI technologies and is pursuing research and proof-of-concept projects with research institutions and automotive manufacturers.

The company’s humanoid robotics work builds on data and control technologies developed through its wearable robotics business. WIRobotics has collected user data through WIM, its wearable walking-assist robot, and has developed assistive technologies tailored to individual gait patterns and physical conditions.

WIM has sold more than 3,000 units cumulatively and has expanded into Europe, China, Türkiye and Japan. WIRobotics reported revenue of KRW 560 million in 2023, KRW 1.3 billion in 2024 and KRW 2.79 billion in 2025. The company said its revenue in the first quarter of 2026 exceeded its full-year 2024 revenue.
