Hello Robot has been selected by the World Economic Forum as a member of its 2026 Technology Pioneers cohort, a program that recognizes early-stage companies developing technologies with the potential to influence industries and society. The company develops robotic systems designed to assist people in home and healthcare environments. Its flagship product, Stretch, is intended to support tasks such as retrieval and manipulation, with applications for individuals experiencing mobility limitations and for research institutions studying robotics and human assistance technologies.

The World Economic Forum’s Technology Pioneers program includes companies from a range of sectors, including artificial intelligence, biotechnology, climate technology and advanced manufacturing. Companies selected for the program are invited to participate in Forum initiatives and discussions over a two-year period, contributing expertise on emerging technologies and related policy issues.

Hello Robot said the recognition reflects its work in developing assistive robotics aimed at improving accessibility and independence for users. The company stated that it plans to continue expanding the capabilities of its robotic platforms and collaborating with researchers, healthcare providers and other organizations.

The selection places Hello Robot among a group of companies recognized by the World Economic Forum for developing technologies that address challenges across healthcare, sustainability and digital transformation. Participation in the Technology Pioneers program provides companies with opportunities to engage with policymakers, industry leaders and other stakeholders through World Economic Forum activities.
