DHL Supply Chain, the contract logistics leader within Deutsche Post DHL Group, announces a framework agreement expanding its collaboration with Locus Robotics. By 2022, the supply chain specialist plans to take on up to 2,000 robots, then being by far the largest customer of Locus Robotics worldwide.

Locus Robotics announces $150 million in funding. This makes the valuation of this provider of warehouse automation to $ 1 billion. Locus will use the new investment to further expand its global market and finance research and development (R&D).

Locus Robotics announced that it has now passed the quarter-billion (250,000,000) units picked volume level heading into the 2020 holiday peak season. Locus robots now pick more than ten-thousand units every 15 minutes, a 263% increase in units picked vs. the same period last year.
