Im schnellwachsenden Bereich der digitalen Automation gibt es verschiedenste Möglichkeiten, die eigene Geschäftsstrategie zu gestalten: von Robotics Process Automation (RPA) über Machine Learning bis hin zum Einsatz von Chatbots. Die End-to-End-Automatisierung einzelner Prozesse durch eine Kombination verschiedener Technologien hat das Marktforschungs- und Beratungsunternehmen Gartner als Hyperautomation und Top-Technologie-Trend für 2020 bezeichnet. 

Viele Unternehmen setzen im Kundenkontakt mittlerweile Chat- und Voice-Bots ein, die Standardanfragen beantworten können. Doch auch weitere Dienste sind mit Künstlicher Intelligenz möglich.

Noch dominieren im Contact-Center Voice- und Chat-Bots, die auf KI basieren. Ralf Mühlenhöver erklärt, welche weiteren Dienste KI ermöglicht.

Zoologists at the University of Cologne studied the nervous systems of insects to investigate principles of biological brain computation and possible implications for machine learning and artificial intelligence. Specifically, they analysed how insects learn to associate sensory information in their environment with a food reward, and how they can recall this information later in order to solve complex tasks such as the search for food.

The IBM Watson Center Munich had it’s Grand Opening on 16 Feb 2017 in the Munich’s Highlight Towers. On the 23rd floor, IBM has impressive showcases with real moving robots and IoT devices.
