RoboSense to Showcase New LiDAR at CES 2024

by Pieter Werner

RoboSense, announced plans to introduce the latest developments in its M Platform line of sensors at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024. The event will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

At CES 2024, RoboSense aims to present their new product in the M Platform sensor line, which is designed to support Level 3 autonomous driving requirements. This product is targeted at Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier 1 customers worldwide. The M1, noted as the first automotive-grade solid-state LiDAR sensor to enter mass production, along with the M1 Plus, are currently used by global OEMs for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving capabilities. These sensors are specifically designed to enhance vehicle safety features and support the development of more intelligent vehicles.

The E1, another innovation from RoboSense, incorporates the company’s proprietary chip technology. It is engineered to improve blind spot detection, thereby enhancing navigation and safety in both vehicles and robotic systems.

Mechanical LiDAR Innovations

RoboSense’s Ruby Plus is an updated 128-beam sensor, tailored for Level 4 autonomous vehicle commercial operations. The BPearl sensor offers unique ultra-wide field detection for precise short-range blind spot identification. Additionally, the Helios series, which includes 16- and 32-beam LiDAR sensors, caters to a wide array of applications across robotics, intelligent vehicles, and Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communications.

RoboSense will also highlight HyperVison, a comprehensive system that integrates their sensors and software. This system is designed to facilitate extensive data analytics, aiding in crucial decision-making processes. This innovation is intended to support the development of safer and more efficient solutions for RoboSense’s customers.
