Leiden AI Community Launches, Bridging Academia and Business

First Meeting Networking Community on April 18th

Leiden, home to the prestigious Leiden University, has a growing footprint in the artificial intelligence (AI) sector. Bringing academia and business together, the Leiden AI Community will officially launch on April 18th.

Spearheaded by: entrepreneur Surajeet Bhuinya from AI company Datapebbles, and Marco van der Hoeven from independent news platform Rocking Robots, this initiative aims to create a vibrant ecosystem for both AI professionals users, researchers and entrepreneurs in the AI field .

The primary objective of the Leiden AI Community is to foster a collaborative environment where AI professionals can share ideas, inspire each other, and explore new frontiers in AI research and application. This initiative recognizes the increasing importance of interdisciplinary approaches in advancing AI technology and its applications.

Industry innovators

The inaugural meeting of the Leiden AI Community is scheduled for April 18th at a venue located in the historic Rapenburg area. This event is expected to attract a diverse group of AI experts, ranging from academic researchers to industry innovators. The choice of Rapenburg for the venue underscores the community’s commitment to blending the rich historical legacy of Leiden with cutting-edge technological innovation.
