Salesforce has launched Einstein GPT, generative AI for CRM technology. This delivers AI-created content across sales, service, marketing, commerce, and IT interaction, at hyperscale. Einstein GPT will infuse Salesforce’s proprietary AI models with generative AI technology from an ecosystem of partners and real-time data from the Salesforce Data Cloud.

Microsoft has been forced to make radical changes in the testing of ChatGPT 3.5 in their Bing search engine, after a string of testers published strange and sometimes disconcerting results in their conversation with the chatbot. Conversations with this version of AI will be limited to five chat turns.

The day after Google announced that the company will launch a chatbot that can compete with ChatGPT, the Chinese technology company Baidu also announced that it has finished testing of a ChatGPT-rival, called “Ernie Bot”. Their Hong Kong-listed shares closed up 15.3% on Tuesday, while its U.S shares climbed 11.2% in morning trade.

Yesterday Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichal announced in a blogpost the upcoming launch of Bard, an AI-tool based om the Language Model for Dialogue Applications (LaMDA). The announcement comes at a time when ChatGPT is making waves, and Microsoft invests heavily to incorporate this technology in Teams.
